Forthcoming Events of Lytham Organ Society


The following concerts have been arranged, each starting at 7.30pm. Cost of admission is £7 payable on the door with a discount of a free concert if you come to six other organ concerts. Friday 25th February, 2011 7:30pm start: Theatre Organ Concert with Nigel Ogden
Our annual concert by the ever popular local star of the organ world and presenter of the BBC's Organist Entertains.
Friday 25th March, 2011 7:30pm start: Theatre Organ Concert with Howard Beaumont
Our opening concert at Lytham Organ Society was given by Howard. We enjoyed the concert immensly then and Howard has returned several times. We look forward again to welcoming him to Lytham.
Friday 15th April, 2011 7:30pm start: Theatre Organ Concert with Phil Kelsall MBE
Again another concert that has become an 'annual' event. Phil appears once again just before the start of another busy season as Principal Organist at the Tower Ballroom Blackpool. One, as always, not to be missed! Please note revised date of the 3rd Friday of April to avoid Easter.

Saturday 25th June, 2011 12:30pm start: Peter Jebson
An annual FREE concert as part of Club Day given this year by Peter Jebson.
Friday 22nd July, 2011 7:30pm start: Mixed Classical, Theatre and Piano Concert with Kevin Morgan
Return visit of this popular 'master' of all forms of organ and wonderful pianist.
Friday 23rd September, 2011 7:30pm start: Mixed Theatre and Piano Concert with Jean Martyn
Again, a return visit of one of the UK's most popular lady organists and pianists.
Friday 28th October, 2011 7:30pm start: Something old, something new: with Tim Butterworth
The concert will feature the ever popular 'theatre' organ style of playing with music played on the wonderful Copeman Hart Digital Theatre organ, plus sections of music played on the latest 'state-of-the-art' Yamaha Digital Keyboards, opening up a whole world of the most reslistic orchestral sounds.
